Heartland Poker Tour
The Heartland Poker Tour was established in 2005 by two long-time friends, Todd Anderson and Greg Lang. These two producers worked together to create a regional poker tournament series with a strong television presence. Heartland Poker Tour events have been viewed on television in over 50 million households across the country, with more viewers tuning in for every event.
Anderson and Lang pride themselves on bringing a younger, more energetic voice to the poker community. They believe their new television show is 'part drama, part reality television.' Andersan and Lang have clearly stated their three goals for the Heartland Poker Tour:

The Heartland Poker League
The Heartland Poker League is the very first National Poker League for poker players. Casinos that participate in this league host weekly tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $50-$100, and the tournament results are tracked at HeartlandPokerTour.com. Players who participate in the league earn player points and are eligible to win prizes.

Poker Room
Card Player Cruises proudly features a professional, fully staffed, non-smoking poker room. The poker room is usually open for play immediately after the first-seating dinner on your departure day. The poker room remains open throughout most of the cruise except when the ship is in port. Free beginner lessons for novices are offered, followed by a low limit hold’em game for beginners only.
The Card Player Cruises staff will be happy to spread any game and limit that enough players want to play. A general guideline regarding the games and limits on most cruises is as follows:
Limit hold’em: $2/$4 – $4-$8 and higher upon request
No–limit hold’em: $1/3, $2/5, and higher upon request
Omaha/8: $4/8 and often higher ($10/20 on up).
Mixed games: Mixed games upon request Tournaments will be announced.
