On May 28, 2018, BCLC implemented a change to the maximum same day payout for Keno from $1,000 to $2,000.

With this change, Lottery Retailers have been provided the option to pay any Keno ticket winnings up to $2,000 within 24 hours of the Keno win. PlayNow.com Keno wins between $1,000 and $2,000 will be deposited into the winner’s account on the same day.

This change supports an enhanced winning experience for Keno players while providing convenience when claiming their prize winnings.

What is the mandatory prize payout amount lottery retailers have to pay winners?
BCLC retailers must pay players for all prizes of $200 or less.
If a ticket is validated and a retailer does not pay the prize between $200.01 - $2,000, can the
player validate the same ticket at another location for prize payment?

Yes, if the retailer chooses “NO – CAN’T PAY” the player can validate the same ticket at another
location for prize payment.
What happens if a retailer attempts to validate prizes of $2,000.01 and over?
BCLC retailers are not given the option to pay prizes of $2,000.01 or over. Players are encouraged to contact Customer Support center at 1-866-815-0222 for the nearest BCLC RPP location or BCLC Office to claim their prize.
Why has BCLC decided to increase the optional prize payout amount for Keno to $2,000?
BCLC has increased the optional same day prize payout amount on Keno to $2,000 to align with the process for other lottery products and to allow retailers to offer a higher prize payout to enhance player convenience.

Select how many numbers you want to play per draw from 1 to 10. Pick your own numbers between 1 and 80 or play Quick Pick and have the numbers picked automatically for you. You can wager $1, $2, $5 or $10 per draw and play from 2 to 99 consecutive draws. The maximum price per ticket is $100.

The cost of your ticket doubles when you add Keno Bonus, but you could multiply your Keno winnings by 1.5, 2, 5, 7 or 10 times!

How to play Keno Pattern game

Keno Pattern Play lets you choose patterns instead of numbers. You can choose preset patterns like Crazy Corners, Diamond Daze, or Bull’s Eye, or you can make your own pattern by selecting Rows and Columns. Keno Pattern Play costs $2 per selection.

First choose your pattern. Each pattern has 40 numbers. Play one of the BCLC keno pre-set patterns like Crazy Corners, Diamond Daze, or Bull’s Eye or play rows and columns. You can also opt for the Quick Pick play for you where the system chooses 40 numbers for you.

Keno Bclc Playnow

You can choose how many consecutive draws you’d like to play, up to a maximum of 49. Each Keno Pattern Play costs $2. Your total wager is the number of consecutive draws, multiplied by $2. The maximum Keno Pattern Play wager is $490.

BC Lotto Keno Bonus

Keno Bonus is only available for play if you participate in a Keno Draw. If you said YES to Keno Bonus, your winnings could multiply by 1.5x, 2x, 5x, 7x, or 10x! Keno Bonus is not available on Keno Pattern Play. To play Keno Bonus you must pay the authorized retailer or BCLC where applicable an additional amount per draw equal to the cost of the Keno selection(s). The maximum wager on keno is $100 and the maximum wager on Keno Bonus is also $100. The total maximum wager per selection is $200.

How to play Keno Quick Pick

To play by BCLC Keno Quick Pick, check the Play Quick Pick box and follow the steps given. Select how many numbers you want to play per draw from 1 to 10. Then choose how much you want to wager per draw – $1, $2, $5 or $10. Next select how many draws you want to play. You can choose to play up to 99 consecutive draws. Choose to add Keno Bonus and you could multiply your Keno winnings by 1.5, 2, 5, 7 or 10 times, but remember, the cost of your ticket will double.

You can also opt to get it via email if your ticket is a winner! Also, you can watch the draw in BC Keno Live and see which of your numbers are winners. Also, you’ll have the option to replay the same ticket.

Keno Draws

Keno Draws takes place every 3:30 minutes, except Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 a.m. to 4:50 a.m. and Monday from 4:00 a.m. to 6:05 a.m. The Keno Bonus draw occurs right before each 3:30 minute Keno draw. Keno Bonus will display 1.5x, 2x, 5x, 7x, or 10x. With Keno Bonus, you have the chance to multiply your Keno winnings by 1.5, 2, 5, 7, or 10 times. You can then check your numbers and know BCLC Keno results.

BCLC Keno Odds

Check out the Keno Prizes & Odds table to help you decide how many numbers to pick and to see the corresponding prize amounts. You can match your Keno numbers to the numbers drawn to see if you win. Your prize will depend on how many numbers you picked and how many numbers you matched. The maximum prize that can be won on any one Keno ticket, not including Keno Bonus, is $200,000, regardless of the amount wagered.

How to win BC Lotto Keno

The maximum combined liability for a given draw is $2 million. If you’ve won a prize of more than $1,000, the earliest you can claim your prize is the day after the draw. The maximum prize that can be won on a Keno ticket with Keno Bonus for any given draw is 10 times the value of the Keno prize. If you’ve won a prize of more than $1,000, the earliest you can claim your prize is the day after the draw.

When you have won the BC Keno you need to claim the prizes. Most Retailers can pay prizes up to $200 and may pay prizes between $200 and $2,000. If you have won $10,000 and over call BCLC Customer Support at 1-866-815-0222 also a Group Release Form must accompany any group claim for $10,000 or greater of three or more people. You need to bring two pieces of valid government-issued identification when making your claim. The ID must include a recent photo, date of birth and signature.
